Bible Question:
Jesus cast out demons in his lifetime. I believe we all would agree that the New testament has ample evidence that demons exist, and were actively involved with hindering Christ and his choosen few, and believers. If Jesus cast out demons, and even allowed them to enter a herd of pigs, which was deviled ham by the way, and they ran off a cliff into the sea. Please tell me where are demons today? Also why is not the casting out of demons today a part of the church? Are not demons just as active today as in Jesus life time? What should we as Christians do today to recognize when we come across a demon? How are we to cast out a demon? Are we to cast out a demon. This all sounds like some pretty rough dealings I am not sure how to deal with. agape, justme |
Bible Answer: Justme, Here are links for two articles; the first about exorcists and the second about exorcism. They are from a Catholic source and give somewhat detailed histories of the subjects including but not limited to the scriptural sources. I hope they are of some value to you.
