Bible Question (short): Danger in "revelation theory" only. |
Question (full): Debbie, I think you are right about the dangers of having "revelation theory" as the only interest in our Christian study. I also agree that God does not want us to live in fear of the antichrist. However, we do need a healthy fear of the warnings of God as Noah had: Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. As for Al-Qaeda, maybe they are not the ten kings, but there is indication that they may represent a part of the beast himself, while those that provide funding are "as kings" for one hour with the beast(Rev 17:12). 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength(money?) unto the beast. It is important to identify all personallities here: the Ten kings, The Harlot, and the beast. While they are all enemies of the Lamb, the Ten Kings are also enemies of the Harlot that rides the beast. Bless you- Pastor Glenn |
