Bible Question: HOW WOULD EARLY CHRISTIANS,WHO WERE PRIMARILY JEWISH CONVERTS, HAVE REACTED OR INTERPRETED REVELATIONS 12? BECAUSE OF THEIR IMMEDIATE JEWISH HERITAGE, WOULD THEY HAVE REACTED DIFFERNTLY OR BEEN IMPRESSED DIFFERENTY THAN MODERN CHRISTIANS? |
Bible Answer: Greetings oakfielda! If you read in Rev. 12:1, it says that the woman in the vision had a crown of twelve stars. I believe that this "sign" alone would have given a very good indication that the woman was symbolic of Israel, and the early Christians would have immediately "picked up" on that. Blessings to you, Nolan |
