Bible Question: If a prophetic message is given unto one and among the message, the Lord says that he has placed stones in both your hands, what exactly does this entail? |
Bible Answer: There are very few passages in the Bible which come close to that image. The one that I would lean toward would be when Moses came down from the mountain after receiving the Ten Commandments. He probably held one of the stone tablets in each hand. (Ex 34:1-4) There is also a reference in Jeremiah 43:8-10, where God tells the prophet to take large stones in his hands, bury them, and issue a warning of comming destruction. One final word of caution would be that, God is a God of peace, not of confusion. If the message was truly from God, I would greatly expect that God would make clear to the one receiving the message, what was expected. If there is confusion, the message may not be from God, and should be dealt with very carefully. |
