Subject: what do dreams mean |
Bible Note: lookN4luv, I'm guessing that you're referring to Isaiah 48:6 which says: "You have heard; look at all this. And you, will you not declare it? I proclaim to you new things from this time, Even hidden things which you have not known." The context seems to be dealing with Israel's obstinacy, so I'm not convinced this applies to dreams. We need to be careful of "proof-texting". The question I would ask is this: Is this passage specifically referring to dreams? Again, what does the entire scope of the Bible teach about dreams? I think this needs to be considered along with the context of the passage you quoted. How do you see that this fits with nae-nae's question on "what do dreams mean"?
