Subject: Hereing from God |
Bible Note: Dear Fwiaskycap: Yes God spoke to Nebuchadnezzar in a dream. Who was Nebuchadenezzar? He was king over the whole known world. He had taken God's people captive. He was a major player in the history of Israel. God has a plan and purpose for his people Israel and for the world in general. Nebuchadenezzar was a king. To compare yourself with him would not be appropriate unless you were a king. Besides that we are living in a different era. We are living in a time of grace since Christ has since come to the earth and died and been resurrected. If you read all 66 books of the bible it helps us to see why leaders/kings today who completely blaspheme God are not brought low as Nebuchadnezzar was. I believe the answer is because we are living in a different time in the plan of God. So to compare ourselves with Nebuchadnezzar saying God should speak to us in a dream as He did Nebuchadnezzar would be out of context. Sincerely, Val |
