Bible Question: I have been saved for almost 3 years. I consider it to be a blessing to be one of the "chosen ones"! But for the first time on my spiritual journey,I am realizing just how hard it is to be a Christian. Wanting to be obediant, and not give in to temptation! The conviction. What do you do as "saints" when you fall down? |
Bible Answer: Dear sufficient grace, All praise and glory and honor be to God our father! and, to Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, who thought not of Himself but sacrificed Himself for our sins! I, as well as many others, have been right where your at in your walk. Here are some steps I recomend: 1st. Believe and live by faith. Gal 3:11 Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH." 2nd. Find a true and faithful (stronger) believer. some one who walks after the spirit and not the flesh. Rom 15:1 Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. 3rd. Confess your sin (fault) to them. James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. 4th. Jesus takes care of it. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I too will pray. Your brother in Christ, Cyclist I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continually be in my mouth! |
