Subject: All have sinned |
Bible Note: Hi Nolan, In 1John 1:10, I feel it's important to point out that by grace we are saved, it is the gift of God. Grace meaning unmerited favor. Unmerited that before Grace and salvation we were all dead in trespasses and sin. If we say we have not sinned, it makes Him a liar, meaning as God feels like a liar in that through Jesus Christ and him crucified and the shedding of his blood there is no remission (forgiveness and cleansing) of sins. We say to God, sorry not needed We were all walking dead people in that before having a knowledge of our condition and sin, we were completely walking in darkness. But once saving grace translated us in newness of life and then we are made aware of our dark, lifeless sinful conditon through the carnal flesh. Boom the light comes on and we know. But with salvation we have a hope in that we have recieved eternal life, not in this fleshly state but when Jesus returns for the body of Christ. Before our eyes were opened there was no hope. Now we see our need for a saviour in that through Jesus confession is made and he is faithful to cleanse us all unrightousness. Now since we know of our past condition and the need to totally trust in Jesus to change our hearts and we now want to not sin. But we all fall short, it's this old carnal sinful nature through the flesh that will in this world there will be temptations on every side, but through Jesus, and the scripture that gives assurance and strength in 1 Cor. 10:13, There hath no temptation taken you that is such is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. If anyone says they hath not sinned, then they are kidding theirselves. But in some there is this high elevation of one's self and convincing them selves they have no need for a saviour and salvation and they don't want to feel like they now are being controlled, and they don't want to change because life was just fine, so why change. There is total denial, and therefore until they know (truly know) their need for a saviour and recognizing that they do sin they are dead in their tresspasses and sin and have no eternal life and continue to live in darkness. But there are some folks that are so stubborn and self centered they truly don't want salvation and all that comes with it, because for some it's hard to believe in a spirit they cannot see, and may feel not worthy. But I say it doesn't matter where you've been and if you were made to believe that you aren't worthy of anything good in your life. I say Come as you are, God Loves you so much that he's not looking at your clothes, your face, your body, and condemning your thoughts. He knows and LOVES you that he wants you to believe and trust in him. He's not like man and how we think. But how can he love me? Remember who knows the mind of God, and he does not look at the outward appearance, he looks and searches your heart and the inner most depths that may have been hidden for so long. That you forgot was even there, or never knew. It was so buried into you thoughts and heart and a huge wall covered it up. God and Jesus breaks down the walls and barriers and gives you a freedom you have never known. Oh I can go on and on. See I've been there, and I have seen what the world and what the mind can believe that can keep you from this awesome truth. It's a freedom that's almost unimaginable and it's gets better and better. If we say we hath not sinned, this is the first hurdle, this means habitual sin before we were saved through salvation. But now being a new creature and old things have past away, we are not to continually habitually sinning without concionce and guilt in that we are now awake, accountable for ourselves and there should be a renewing and change taking place that we don't continue in habitual sin. because that is without knowlege and changing our hearts to where we can't go back and strive to not sinning. But with faith and a renewness in our minds. So Nolan I say to who may say, I don't sin, and have no need for salvation and God couldn't love this dirt bag, and I can't see God, he must not be there. Whatever it may be, TAKE a Leap of faith, and just try and see what happens. I'm a living testimony of His LOVE and MERCY through Jesus. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God, and this is the living spoken word where the more it saturates your being and more and more infilling of the truth, a continuous glorious transformation happens day by day, and the old self is going away and the new is taking over. Thanks for asking the question because this is so deep that it's AWESOME. In the LOVE and TRUTH of The LIVING WATER, SERENETIME |
