Bible Note: Hi Cheri, Absolutely. In fact, the genealogy in Matt. 1 is one of the examples he covers in detail in the book. Another point he makes is that just because someone "alleges" there are discrepancies, i.e. can't explain a difficulty, doesn't mean that there isn't an answer it for it.
