Bible Note: Hi Doc, you may have been confused I was not asking a question in reference to Genesis chapter 6 I was answering from the Bible. In the Bible is where it gives the context for who the Nephilim were in the same chapter where it talks about disobedient angels taking human wives and those women bearing children. I would think that common sense would tell us that these Nephilim which name means "fellers" being mention in this chapter is not haphazard. They were different hybrid beings by the description and their conduct. The Bible being silent as you said is not a reason to create ideas. I am not concerned with Christian Scholars belief of the Nephilim since in a lot of instances opinions are given as facts to push a person's specific ideology instead of harmonious Bible truth. Ecclesiastes 12:12-14.The Bible does not tell us that our Creator approved of these hybrid men that bully others which is the what came they did during the preflood era.So your effort to draw attention away from the Bible or discredit my referring to it is not Christian nor is your obvious condescending sarcasm.
