Bible Question: To what in verse 1:3 "seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence." does the word "these" reference? |
Bible Answer: Dearest sister, Good hearing from you. This is one of the first passages of scripture I studied after I was saved. Go back to verse three of this passage and read through to verse 12. This will give you some insite to what "these" references to. Peter is telling us to cultivate our relationship with God. Remember how Paul tells us in Philippians 2:12 to work out our salvation (with trembling and fear). Here in 2 Peter 1:3-12 is telling us how. I hope I'm pointing you in the right direction,if not, tell me. In Christ, lionheart |
