Subject: How Far Are We To Suffer For Christ? |
Bible Note: Dear bowler, Your point is well taken and thank you for clarifying. There are number of factors affecting the clarity of our message that may cause misunderstanding from readers. Therefore, we are obliged to provide our explanation as best as we could and your effort on this is very much appreciated. You ask: I was querying about what it means to "suffer for Christ", how far should one go? At what cost? My answer: Matt 10:21-25. Yes, only God knows the hearts of men and we may not be sure who are truly converted Christians. Judging for the sake of self-righteousness is condemned by Jesus; yet, we are taught to discern the truth, the evil by the help of the Holy Spirit and the Word. Therefore, for the non-believe, we have to evangeilze, for those who believe, we are to edify each other (Eph 4:11-32). Shalom Azure |
