AMPLIFIED 2015 | James 4:3 You ask [God for something] and do not receive it, because you ask with wrong motives [out of selfishness or with an unrighteous agenda], so that [when you get what you want] you may spend it on your [hedonistic] desires. |
Subject: Is James 4:3 completely true? |
Bible Note: biblenovice, Doc's response to you was right on. Know where does he even suggest that scripture is in error. He gave you lots of good scriptural support. God answers our prayer and grants our requests, He just might do it in the ways we don't expect. Case in point, I grew up in Michigan where it would get brutally cold during the winter. I've driven my share of beater cars with no heat and I never froze. As a matter of fact I stayed comfortably warm without a functioning heater. My question to you is, has not God taken care of you through all this? Nuff said! In Him, lionheart |
