Bible Note: Dear Vintage, Our knowledge of Rahab is limited by what the Scriptures tell us. Therefor, to say what she was thinking, one way or another, as far as her motivation would be concerned, is speculation, and does not adhere the doctrine of sola Scriptura. What the Scriptures do tell us, is that she was justified by her faith, and that would mean she was indeed a believer, and not (unsaved). She did not put her faith in the spies, that would not justify her; so her faith must be of the sort that was in God, in order to be justified by said faith. John |
