I believe this question may be difficult to word. Doesn't anyone see a problem with James 2:24?

James 2:24
You see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone. NASB

One of the most powerful scriptures in the Bible compares faith and works:

Romans 4:2
If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about, but not before God.

Verse 3: What does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." NIV

It doesn't get any clearer than that.

James tries to clearify his point with an example:

James 2:25
In the same way, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? NASU
