Subject: How does mercy triumph over judgment? |
Bible Note: Colin: the cross is a triumph of God’s mercy meant to lead us to repentance so that we may not be judged according to His wrath. mommapbs: AMEN Colin: We are given a choice. We rebel. God entreats us, warns us and wants to show us mercy. If we ignore His entreaties, at some point, bang!, we be lithified. mommapbs: Chapter and verse for the term "lithified" please!! :-) How is God's mercy eternal and His judgment not? Mercy without the possibility of justice isn't mercy is it? God's judgment is a reflection of His nature. God is both merciful and just. He is also unchangeable. Just some thoughts.
