Subject: Wisdom - Salvation in Christ? |
Bible Note: Greetings EdB! You wrote: "God intends that trials will drive believers to greater dependency on Him, by showing them their own inadequacy." Do you think that God may uses the "trial" that accompanies unconfessed sin in the life of a believer to show them their own inadequacy? Is unbelief a sin that believers struggle with in certain ares of their lives? - (James reminds us that when we ask God for wisdom, we are to ask in faith, not doubting! v6). I think there is much more to the wisdom of God than we understand and as such, we don't even realize that we aren't depending upon it (or in other words, we lack it). Just some thinking . . .
