NASB | Hebrews 6:6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 6:6 and then have fallen away--it is impossible to bring them back again to repentance, since they again nail the Son of God on the cross [for as far as they are concerned, they are treating the death of Christ as if they were not saved by it], and are holding Him up again to public disgrace. |
Bible Question: once saved always saved...is this Biblical? |
Bible Answer: rojedoo: Welcome to the Forum! This question is asked many times, and it's a question every believer must come to an answer that is Biblical, and they can defend. Often this question is asked by someone who wants to know how little can I do and still make it to heaven. Sometimes a person is living with sin that they do not want to give up, and seek to see if they will be rejected by Christ if they continue with this sin in their life. May I suggest you read John cahpter 10. I think this might help you. For myself I found John 10:28 very helpful. Blessings. justme |
