Subject: Did Jesus experence real temptation? |
Bible Note: Doc, I guess what i was trying to say is this ,If Jesus couldent be tempted, why would Satan go through all that trouble trying to get Jesus to yeild to the temtation? after all Satan walked with God in the garden (EZEKIEL:28-12(Thus saith the lord God;Thou sealest up the sum, full of WISDOM,and perfect in beauty.Thou hast been in eden the garden of God.)so we can conclude by this passage of scripture that Satan is not stuped,in fact in order for him to decive the nations of the world you have to be pretty smart. so it's my guess that he knew that Jesus could yeild to the temption, just like you and I could, but because we have Gods word and the HOLY SPIRIT to guide us and teach us the way,we can have victory over the temption , HOW'S THAT? |
