Bible Question:
I have heard preachers say: "you cannot out-sin the grace of God." I thought it might be interesting to see what this forums thoughts on that statement might be. So do you agree with that statement? Do you disagree? Why? |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Pro 20:9; Rom 6:1; Jam 3:2; 1 Jhn 1:8-10 ... Scribe, greetings. Read the above verses to see what God says ... I clearly know that I do sin. But, since I am a Christian my sins are forgiven. There is a stuggle (Rom 7:14ff). Now, go to your pastor ... point out these verses and ask him to recant what he said. Yes, he can look it up in the original to see it clearer. Then show him James 3:1 and Galatains 1:6ff (he is preaching another Gospel) if he does not want to recant. Also, follow Matthew 18:15ff to send him on his way. Hope he listens and recants, Searcher |
