NASB | Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is to be held in honor among all [that is, regarded as something of great value], and the marriage bed undefiled [by immorality or by any sexual sin]; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. |
Bible Question: What doese the bible say is exceptable sexually between a married couple(i.e)positions. And where exactly is this definition found in the bible. |
Bible Answer: Greetings - it is my opinion that the marriage bed is to be a reflection of the mutually submissive union between a husband and wife. From this verse, sex outside of that union is what "defiles." If one partner objects to a sexual practice, then the other should be willing to honor that. "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves;" Phi 2:3 mommapbs |
