Bible Question (short): Premarital sex is a sin? |
Question (full): Where in the Bible does it say that premarital sex is a sin? I've read as much as I could and I just can't find where I says it's a sin to have sex before marriage. I'm starting to conclude that intercourse IS a marriage between two people and the sin is to have intercourse with more than one partner. When you here people in divorce court and they say if the marriage has not been consumated then you're not married. I understand what it means to have sex with someone. But is it really neccesary to have a piece of paper saying we are married before we have sex? They didn't have in back then. Actually the wedding was just an announcement to the family to recognize that they are coming together in a holy matrimony. |
