Bible Question:
Jesus came to this world about two thousand years ago, where was the world going before him--to hell? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Amrit, To be forgiven for sin there must be a blood sacrifice. Before Jesus, this involved sacrificing an animal such as a ram, sheep, dove, ect. Leviticus 1-5 goes into each of the 5 different types of offerings in detail. Today is no different, there must also be a blood offering to be forgiven for sins. The blood of Jesus Christ was our sin offering. He sacrificed Himself so that we may be saved, putting an end to animal sacrifices. All through history since Adam there have been people who have sinned and have not offered a blood sacrifice. These people have gone to hell. prayon |
