Bible Question:
Can a indivisual be saved and doesn't have any faith. Although they're constantly saying I have faith and I trust God. When something happens then they shut down, and begin to worry and I question their confession of having faith. |
Bible Answer: Hi, ladonnab! Vocabulary is a strange language within itself... what to some is mediocre to others is excellent... since I do not have your perspective of your relationship with your friend... there's little to tell... I have a few Bible passages in mind that could assist you in gauging faith: Matthew 7:21-22 Luke 6:46 1 Corinthians 13:4-13 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 James 1:19-25 Matthew 6:24-34 ...And finally: 'Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light.' (Matthew 11:28-29) James 4:8 says that "The nearer you go to God, the nearer God will come to you." Conversely, the opposite is also true, the farther we go from God, the farther God will be from us! One suggestion: PRAY! Keep your friend in all your prayers, asking the Holy Spirit to open your friend's mind and spirit to Him--only the Holy Spirit can convict us of our errors and guide us back to the Truth! God Bless!
