AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 11:13 ¶ All these died in faith [guided and sustained by it], without receiving the [tangible fulfillment of God's] promises, only having seen (anticipated) them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. Bible Note: Heb 11:5 says that Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death. 2Ki 2:11 says Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 1Th 4:17 says that those who are alive and REMAIN will be caught up and will forever be with the Lord. By all scriptural accounts, Elijah and Enoch have already been "caught up" and are already forever be with the Lord. Therefore, tho they are indeed alive, they do not “remain" and, as I see it, will not be sent back to Earth to live as a natural person again. Listening for the trumpet! retxar |
