NASB | Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ's return] approaching. |
Subject: Why church? |
Bible Note: dennis I think it was your opening statement, "I have to agree that church is not manditory..." leaves me questioning everything else you have to say. You see three dots are used to infer or suggest something has been omitted. That coupled with the opening statement raised the question what part of Hebrews 10:25 did you see as optional? It was an honest question and it wasn’t an attack or meant to be malicious. EdB |
