Subject: Help, parents need encouragement! |
Bible Note: Hank:-) Often the words do not show the feelings that even come close to what I am attempting to convey. In thinking about my response to your note I took over night most of this day, I wanted to answer you last, and with a clear way. In one way this experience has shown the alertness of some more recent Forum members, who most likely new very little of me. How were they to know I was not a trouble maker, or like a Raven of some time ago on this forun. So enevn being frustrating and somewhat painful for me, the good turns out for glory to the LORD. I know I have grown by this experience, and it seems like most of my Chrisrian growth is learned and imprinted on my heart by pain. I assure you I was not wanting anything to take the place of Holy Scripture, nor as a supplement. What I wanted was someone who had written about an experience close to this couple, as they wondered if anyone else had gone this hurtful path ahead of them. I would never refer a book to anyone that did not use the Holy Scripture as the source of streingth and direction. I myself continue to hold Romans 8 as the source of encouragement in my many health issues. The Book of 1 John in my Bible has at times absorbed my tears. My wife and I take James 5:13-16 as our guide when faced with difficult serious, uncertian health problems. We honestly ask the LORD to keep us in the center of His will. In asking to be in the center of His will we do not ask for our will, and the answer is always what is His very best for us. Again I assure you and everyone else I never intended to for even a second give the opinion that Holy Scripture is anything less than the Owners Manual for Christians, the very Word of God. My deepest sorrow would be if anyone thought I believed such a horrid lie form the evil one himself. Thank you for your note and the encouragement, and belssings to you Hank! justme, Mike |
