Bible Note: Yes I believe this also. I also subscribe to the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy (see http://www.bible-researcher.com/chicago1.html ) I was pursuing the thought of the author of the book I was reading ( Dr Bart Ehrman MISQUOTING JESUS ) of massive changes made in the original autograph which turn out to not be so not so massive, I believe. The bottom line is, would the apostles feel comfortable in our meetings today; would they agree with the teachings we promote as truth? |
