AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God's will, both publicly and privately--behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; |
Subject: Paul's extra-biblical teaching inerrant? |
Bible Note: Lionstrong, what I mean is we know that not everything Paul taught is recorded in Scripture, because we do not have the words he said in Acts. He may of made errors also in the other letters he wrote - we know of at least two missing letters to the Cornithians. So the bottom line is that while what is recorded in the Bible is inerrant, what else he said (or wrote) may not be. If this is not what you are saying (or agree to), plaes let me know. |
