Bible Question: Is suicide considered a sin and will this negate one's eternal salvation? |
Bible Answer: Hello brh, Welcome to the Forum. There is much discussion on this topic, and suicide is indeed a sin- as is anything not of faith (Rom. 14:23)! I know of no such caveat in scripture that would "negate one's eternal salvation"- if they are truly born again. The question begs the corollary, "why would one who is truly saved and 'in Christ' (want to) commit suicide? I hope this helps, BradK |
