Bible Question: What are your views on Christians drinking alcohol and smoking? I have heard that some say it is okay as long as you do it in moderation (drinking) but isn't it too easy to go over that fine line? Is there anything Biblical on the issue - I know there are things on drunkeness. But then people argue that they won't let it get that far! |
Bible Answer: God created everything on earth for our use. Sugar, Chocolate, Tobacco, alcohol. Everything is okay, but not everything is benificial. You have to keep in mind, not only yourself, but those around you. If you cause your brother to stumble, you will be held accountable. If you are asking for yourself, take it to God. As you grow in Him, He will let you know what is okay, and when. If it is about others, then I suggest you take it to God. He has taught me that what others do is not something I can change. I can only live my life as a light for them. Hope this helps. Kelkat |
