Bible Question:
Many members of our congregation are spreading their unhappiness with our pastor to others. Where in the bible do I find scripture that states not to attack God's special servants? I know not to bear false witness. But, I searched and I thought the bible mentions God protects teachers and such and that we'll be held accountable for sins against them. |
Bible Answer: Dear jweave, It is sad to see this happens at church. There are a number of verses talking about love among brothers. So, this also applies to pastors. In 1 Timothy 5:17 specifically mentioned that believers should have high respect to their ministers. 1 John 4:19-21 James 4:11-12 Hebrew 13:17 Col 3:12-17 Philippians 2:1-8, 14-15 Eph 4:1-16 1 Cor 1:10 Rom 12:9-18 Shalom Azure |
