Bible Note: I am not advocating that we keep the dietary laws of the OT. I merely wish to point out a couple of things. You write: "if it were condeming to us, God would have included it in His commandments." Hello? God did include it in His commandments. You write: "I believe the issues Moses had with pork..." Moses didn't have "issues" with pork. Moses merely wrote down the Law with its commandments as it was given to him by God. Also, I cannot agree that the primary purpose of the laws prohibiting the eating of pork and certain other foods is because of health considerations. Primarily, the dietary laws were given to emphasize that Israel was to be separate from the nations around them. --kalos |
