Subject: What is "slain in the spirit"? |
Bible Note: Okay, for the sake of discussion, lets say that the proper amount of time had passed between verse 6 and 7 that those of you familiar with the slain in the spirit practice would be convinced they were not faking. Where in this verse does it teach us they were slain in the spirit? Please don't avoid the questions and request for explanation. I'm only asking for you to explain how you get slain in the spirit out of the scriptures that is used to justify the practice. If you believe in this practice, then surly you can explain why and how the rest of us can interpret the meaning as you do. I'm basing my belief on the scriptures as I read and understand them. In none of the scriptures used to back this practice can I find the meaning given to them by those that practice this. So, if you so strongly believe that they do, take the time to explain how you get this interpretation from the scriptures. |
