AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Thessalonians 4:15 For we say this to you by the Lord's [own] word, that we who are still alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede [into His presence] those [believers] who have fallen asleep [in death]. |
Bible Question: It seems the more I find out about my lord the more confused I get,I hope you can help me to understand. In 1st. Thessalonians 4-13-18 it tells that we will sleep and than we will rise and go to heaven, but paul tells us again in 2nd. cor. 5: 1-8 that to be absent from the body is to be present with god can you help me to understand this? thank you so much yours in christ. |
