Bible Question: Where in the Scriptures does it state that we have as believers been forgiven Past,Present and Future sins? |
Bible Answer: Mark 3:28 Verily I say to you, All sins shall be forgiven to the sons of men. Acts 13:38-39 Be it known to you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins, and by Him all that believe are justified from ALL things. Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin and become servants to God, you have your fruit to holiness and the end everlasting life. We as believers have been given by grace the promise of everlasting life. We are also to confess our sins and ask for forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That is to say we will continue to sin as long as we are in this mortal body, but we must understand that when we sin we ask for forgiveness and by God's grace and the blood of Jesus Christ we are assured that we will be forgiven. |
