Bible Question:
Moses my servant is dead, why did God say this to Joshua |
Bible Answer: yatesk67 I must be missing something in your question. You quote Philippians 3:13 and ask why did God say "My servant Moses is dead". God told Joshua that Moses was dead because Moses was dead. He told Joshua because Joshua had been appointed as Moses' replacement. Why Joshua? Because over the years Joshua displayed that his trust was in God. 40 years earlier when he was one of the 12 spies he trusted God to give them the land that God had promised and tried to convince the rest of the nation of Israel to enter in. I guess we can see this in Phil 3:13 Joshua held to the promise letting nothing else sway him. If that was the point your trying to make let me in love suggest you just say it next time. EdB |
