AMPLIFIED 2015 | Philippians 3:10 And this, so that I may know Him [experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely] and [in that same way experience] the power of His resurrection [which overflows and is active in believers], and [that I may share] the fellowship of His sufferings, by being continually conformed [inwardly into His likeness even] to His death [dying as He did]; |
Bible Question: Does the Lord still heal people today? |
Bible Answer: Chaser: I can state infacticly yes he does. The problem is often we pray for healing as if that was the right of us do do so. So we ask with wrong motivies. I had blood clots in my lungs last June.I was told to go home and prepare to die at anytime. I did. I also asked my Pastor to come and pray and annoint me with oil. I asked my Elders and church to pray for me to be in the direct will of the Lord. With that prayer I cannot ask the Lord for anything but what He wants for my life. This takes faith as either way the Lord answers I am not asking for anything bit what He wants. My clots were gone in 40 days and I lived with more clots than the Doctors had seen anyone recover with. I have the before and after Catscans to prove what I have said. I believe God heals today, but far more of a healing it is when someone come to Jesus seeking Him for salvation, with a repentence, and is saved once and for ever. I hope this helps, and God bless you. Have more questions? Just ask. justme |
