Bible Question: why does people like to mess up other peoples life? will god forgive them?? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Lil_kea13! When an unbeliever purposefully makes choices for his own profit, but at another's expense, then you see in a microcosm of the "wisdom of this world." However, the wisdom of this world is folly with God (1 Cor. 3:19). "For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe." (1 Cor. 1:21) In effect, God has made 'foolish' the wisdom of this world (1 Cor. 1:20) by loving us so much that He gave us His one and only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, so that whosoever believes in Him will have everlasting life (John 3:16). The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). For, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, then you will be saved! (Romans 10:9). When a person is saved, they are (or should not continue to be) no longer in competition with anyone else for worldly things or desires. When a person is saved, then they "run a different race" of living a Christ centered life, and "doing nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others as more significant than yourself. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." (Philippians 2:3-4). Yes, when a person is saved, then they are forgiven of their sins (Matthew 12:31). But until a person puts their faith in God, they are dead in their sins (Ephesians 2:1). Blessings to you, Makarios All quoted scripture was taken from the English Standard Version |
