Subject: What's your favorite Bible version? Why? |
Bible Note: EdB: I'm with you on your choices of your favorite versions and your reasons. After more than 30 years of reading, studying, and comparing (26 print versions in my library), I have come to the conclusion that my two favorites are the NASB and NKJV. I'd hate to have only one and not the other. We are blessed to have both. And, in my heart, the King James Version will always be THE Bible. (Disclaimer: I say this, even though I am definitely not a King James Only-ist.) Ed, I have enjoyed your posts, our discussions, and your friendship these past four years. Friend, "I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 1:2 (KJV) Grace and shalom, Kalos |
