Bible Question (short): How to recognize a true prophet? |
Question (full): I was told that a couple of people that I know should be marked as false prophets or liars because they prophesied something that did not come to pass. They mentioned a scripture (that I can not find) that says that if a person prophesies 10 times and only 9 out of the 10 come to pass then he is a liar or false prophet. Is this true? Where is that scripture found. Are prophesies conditional and are prophets allowed to error and still be true prophets? |
