Bible Question (short): Consuming alcoholic beverages: ok or not |
Question (full): Can this verse mean what it sounds like. I have been raised in a church that looks on any form of alcohol as sin. I am having a hard time proving that in the word of God. Being a drunkard, yes, I find that condemned but a glass of wine or a drink? Can someone help? I want to move from what I have been taught traditionally and find the truth God intended. I have never been a big consumer of alcohol so this does not come from that. But when I teach my children right and wrong I want it to be what God teaches as such. |
