Bible Note: I thought of another application of this verse (below) that serves to protect Christians. Psalm 37:8 contains excellent scriptural advice: “Give up your anger, and forsake wrath; be not vexed, it will only harm you.” Have you noticed how road-rage has escalated? - no doubt due to the pressures of this world and those pressures would especially be felt by Christians. (Compare 1 Tim 3:1-7,12,13) By keeping this scripture in mind, we can avoid serious problems associated with "road rage". I don't know how bad this is in your state, but my state is awful and people only seem to drive one speed here: "very fast". Be safe. |
