Bible Note: Kalos I Didn’t say a word about Grace... that wasn’t the point. Dependence on God’s strength and not our own was. Obeying because of an obligation and duty to obey has to result in spiritual pride. It’s too fleshy of a motive... it invites comparison to others. Now if someone said we obey because of pure Thanks and appreciation to the lord for his amazings gifts to us .... that I would agree with. |
