NASB | Galatians 6:1 Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Galatians 6:1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any sin, you who are spiritual [that is, you who are responsive to the guidance of the Spirit] are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness [not with a sense of superiority or self-righteousness], keeping a watchful eye on yourself, so that you are not tempted as well. |
Subject: Christians react to BACKSLIDERS |
Bible Note: It will also help to follow the example of scripture: doctrine, reproof, correction for instruction in righteousness. If they are backsliding then they have the doctrine, reprove them - let them know what they are doing wrong, provide correction - let them know what they should be doing. Above all handle with agape love (1 Cor 13). In His Love, STTIL |
