AMPLIFIED 2015 | Galatians 3:28 There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority]. [Rom 3:22; 1 Cor 12:13] |

Bible Note: I do hope you get better, if I were fighting out a tough physical ordeal like you are in I wouldn't want anyone to treat me other than they would if I was well. I don't think that church leadership needs to take a second place to the demands of scripture, no matter what the state of our current (uncultured) culture is. But I see some strong evidence to needing women's help with the leadership of our churches. We must not give in to that temptation. The bible does not give us that option. While I do think that for the use of women as a temporary pupit supply (not as a called pastor) might be acceptable in some times of cultural upheaval. Like for example if all the men were off to war, or if there was some other problem that rendered the men incapacitated, as well as ungifted as a whole. This would have to be extremely rare, and I don't see the New Testament allowing it as a permanent calling in the churches any more than the creation order in Genesis did. |
