Bible Question: how does one get over the feeling of unworthiness when talking to god. i have a extemely low self-esteem and i feel unworthy when i pray or ask god for anything. i have just recently come back to god and i feel like a new born babe. i am still feeling very lonely alot of time. |
Bible Answer: Our father in Heaven loves us no matter what we have done. It is us and other people that will not let us forget our past. Please tell God how you unworthy you feel. Talk to Him. Let Him love on you and tell Him the desires of your heart and how you want to feel worthy once again. He is such a precious Lord. Here are some scriptures that will help you: Heb. 13:5, Mat. 11:28, 2 Cor.1:3,4, You must forgive yourself! King David acknowledged his sin was ever before him. Day and night he felt God's hand heavy upon him. When he kept silent and did not confess it, even his "bones waxed old" When he humbled himself, acknowledged his transgressions, sought and received the Lord's forgiveness, he could say: Psa. 40:1-3, Isa. 1:18, Col. 1:14, Psa. 86:5, Isa. 43:25 and Psa 103:12. I know these will help! |
