Bible Question: I am coming out of Jehovah's Witness's , I have given my life to Jesus as my savior. I am still confussed about going to heaven. I see so many scriptures saying at the ressurection during the trib and that the dead are asleep. Could someone please help me to see where the scriptures say if you are saved in Christ you will go to heaven and what about post trib. Just what is the scripture teaching about that? Thank you . Bible Answer: Hello It isWritten, Welcome home! Have a look at these verses. 2 Cor 5:6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord-- 2 Cor 5:8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. Luke 23:43 And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise." I hope this helps you. God bless John |
