NASB | 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. |
Bible Question:
To all: How did you become a new creature in Christ? Is this a permanent position? |
Bible Answer: Ephesisans 2:10 sums up the process and the plan! "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." God does it all! And we know from the creation account, what God creates, He declares "good!" Our responsibility it to trust and obey. John 3:23 Praise Him for giving us the righteousness of Christ so that we may approach Him boldly and with confidence that there is no more any condemnation! (Romans 8:1) I'd say this is a VERY permanent postion! But what really matters is what God says! John 10:26-30 Blessings! Mommapbs |
