Bible Note: Joel, You are the one judging me now....I found this web-site and was happy to find it. But the harshness of your letter to me made me pity others that you have responded to. I came with an honest question and with humility not in judgement of her But with what she has told me on her own about herself. I treated this lady with respect and encouragement and we prayerd together. She wanted to be my friend and we exchanged numbers. She is living with an alcoholic-violent and nonbelieving boyfriend as well. I am not judging her. I just want to obey what God's word says. It says this for a reason does it not?... But asking a question concerning if in fact she is a believer then if she is living with a boyfriend in sexual sin and unrepentent, the bible is clear that we are not to associate with such a one. Does God's say this or not. It certainly does. When I saw her at church I greeted her and her boyfriend with kindness and she looked away. I am sure that she was still feeling guilty about her situation and did not want me to see her eyes. Don't you think? Joel you responded very harshly to me and have misunderstood my question totally. I am glad that God knows my heart and my desire to obey his Word. I am sorry that you misinterpreted my question. You need a little more gentleness in your spirit. For the fruit of the Spirit is Love Joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness. faitfhfulness, and self -control. |
